Production control in a consumer electronics factory

چکیده
This paper deals with production control in a consumer electronics factory. A short description of the situation and o f the actual way of control (Material Requirements Planning) is given. Most attention is paid to modularity. The concept of marketing modularity is introduced to be able to analyze in the advantages of product modularity increasing external flexibility by geherating component stocks.
